Terms of Service

Itoou — AI-powered barter exchange platform

These materials are provided to help you use Itoou safely and responsibly. They are for member awareness and platform transparency — not legal, financial, or professional advice. You are responsible for your listings, trades, and interactions with other members.

1. Your responsibility

Itoou provides tools to list items, discover swaps, chat, and coordinate trades. You decide what to list, whom to trade with, and whether to complete any exchange.

You use the Platform at your own discretion and risk. You are solely responsible for verifying item condition, member identity, legality, and the fairness of any swap before you commit.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Itoou platform ("Platform," "Service," or "App"), operated by ObjectOrient ("Company," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Description of Service

Itoou is a peer-to-peer barter and swap marketplace. Members can list items they own, receive Itoou AI-assisted Bucks value estimates, optional used-market price research snapshots (including a brand-new / sealed retail reference where available), discover Bucks-matched swaps, send swap proposals, chat with other members, and complete trades locally or via shipping.

Bucks are an internal value score used to compare items. They are not money, credit, currency, or a stored-value instrument, cannot be bought, sold, redeemed, or withdrawn, and have no cash value.

Browsing the marketplace and viewing individual listing pages is open to everyone, including visitors who are not signed in. Actions that create commitments or use member features — sending swap proposals, chatting, making or accepting offers, completing trades, and managing your own listings — require a member account and sign-in.

We are a technology platform only. We are not a buyer, seller, broker, payment processor, insurer, or party to any trade between members.

4. Accounts and Security

Registration

You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You may sign in with your phone number, Google, or other methods we support.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for activity on your account and for safeguarding your credentials. Notify us promptly at support@objectorient.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, applicable law, or that pose risk to other members or the Platform.

5. Listings and Member Content

Your listings

You are solely responsible for listings, photos, descriptions, messages, and other content you post. You represent that you own or have the right to offer each listed item, that photos are yours or properly licensed, and that descriptions are accurate.

Prohibited items

  • Illegal, stolen, or counterfeit goods
  • Weapons, ammunition, or regulated items without required licenses
  • Controlled substances or drug paraphernalia
  • Adult content or services
  • Live animals
  • Items that infringe intellectual property rights
  • Any item unlawful to sell or exchange in your jurisdiction

Listing visibility

When you publish a listing you choose whether it is public or members-only. Public listings can be viewed by anyone on the web without signing in, may be indexed by search engines, and are part of the open marketplace. Members-only listings are shown only to signed-in members.

For visitors who are not signed in, public listings show approximate location (city and state) rather than your precise pincode. You can change a listing's visibility at any time by editing it. Regardless of visibility, sending swap proposals, chatting, making offers, and completing trades always require a signed-in member account.

License to operate the Platform

You retain ownership of your content. By posting content, you grant Itoou a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it solely to operate and promote the Platform.

6. Swaps, Offers, and Trades

Swap proposals and accepted trades are agreements between members only. We do not guarantee acceptance, completion, item quality, or member conduct.

Items are exchanged as-is unless members explicitly agree otherwise. Bucks estimates, condition labels, time-in-use depreciation, market price research snapshots, and other Itoou AI outputs are informational aids — not guarantees. The time in use you enter is a self-reported estimate that adjusts the suggested Bucks value. See our Itoou AI Disclaimer.

Any cash top-up agreed between members is handled entirely between those members. We do not process, hold, escrow, or guarantee payments.

Reporting and dispute tools may be offered as a courtesy. We are not obligated to intervene and any assistance we provide is not binding arbitration.

7. Prohibited Conduct

  • Fraud, misrepresentation, or fake listings
  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, or discrimination
  • Circumventing bans, security, or moderation
  • Scraping or automated access without permission
  • Soliciting off-platform payments before completing an agreed trade
  • Manipulating trust scores, reviews, or offers
  • Creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions

8. Intellectual Property

Platform software, branding, and design are owned by ObjectOrient or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal data.

10. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE OPERATION, OR THE ACCURACY OF MEMBER CONTENT, Itoou AI OUTPUTS, MARKET PRICE SNAPSHOTS, OR MATCH SUGGESTIONS.

YOU ASSUME ALL RISK ARISING FROM INTERACTIONS AND TRADES WITH OTHER MEMBERS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OBJECTORIENT, Itoou, AND THEIR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, DISPUTE, OR CLAIM ARISING FROM MEMBER-TO-MEMBER TRADES, USER CONTENT, Itoou AI OUTPUTS, MARKET PRICE RESEARCH, OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF USD $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ObjectOrient and Itoou from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your content, your trades, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
